Lake Como is well connected by all means, car, train and plane.

By car: Motorway A8 and A9 Milan – Como – Canton Ticino. Then the Regina State Road runs along the whole lake. Or from Varese through the state road 342 and 369 that from Como reaches Lecco.
To the north, the state road 340 connects Menaggio to Lugano, and Colico to Switzerland, via Chiavenna with the Maloja pass and via Sondrio with the Spluga pass, also for trains.

By Train: from Milan with Trenitalia or LeNord and from the Gottardo for trains coming from Central Europe.

By Plane: Milan Malpensa Airports or Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport. At the airport you can easily rent a car and get comfortably to Como or Lecco via the state road. Otherwise there are numerous buses and shuttles that run from the airports to Como.

You can sail on Lake Como with boats, hydrofoils or ferries.
The routes well connect Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Lenno.

You can easily get to Como and Lecco by train from Milan, Varese, Central Europe and from Orio al Serio and Malpensa airports. The eastern shore of Lake Como is well served by trains, while to get to the center of the lake you can take the Como – Sondrio line to Varenna.
